January 28 and March 12, 2010, were our big ultrasound-news days.
On January 28, we found out there were two babies in there, and then it was a good (long!) six weeks later on March 12 that we learned that it was two boys.
Too much from 2010 is now a fog for us, but thank God for journals. Here’s a little section from Daddy’s journal about March 12, 2010, written a few days after:
The twins are boys! Both of them! Meg’s appointment with the perinatologist was last Friday, March 12, at 10 a.m. Within 10 minutes we heard, “Baby A is a boy. . . . And Baby B is definitely a boy.” . . . I texted Mom and Pop and the sisters and several friends: “At the ultrasound…it’s 2 boys!!!”
I remember getting that text. Can’t believe that was two years ago! Love those two guys so much.
Can’t wait to be with my nephews in a less than three weeks! I miss them so much!!
