First Visit Up North

The boys have encountered a lot of firsts in the past few days.

They made their first long car ride, traveling 2 hours to Aitkin.

They enjoyed Cedar Lake for the first time. (From indoors since it was a bit windy!)

They stayed their first night away from home (at Grandpa’s and Grandma’s house).

They slept away from Daddy for the first time—we miss you Dad! (He’s joining us tomorrow.)

They met a lot of family and friends for the first time.

Today, they stayed awake for a long period of time and laid on the floor (pictures to show their excitement follow).

And, they attended their first birthday party. (2 more to go this week!)

Here are a few photos to document these two important days:

Cousin Hannah meets Coleman for the first time!

Cousin Mason meets the boys! He says, "Oh, they are so tute (cute)."

Cousin Sophie with Coleman

Great Aunt Paulette has her hands full!

Happy Birthday, Gloria!

The boys meet my very special neighbors, Al and Gloria!

Enjoying the beautiful sunset over the lake during the birthday party!

Play time on the floor!
