A Significant Milestone: 5 Months

For most people 5 months is an often overlooked milestone.

Not in the Mathis family.

On our 5-month dating anniversary, we got engaged. And today to celebrate the boys’ 5 month birthday, we had a party with 12 moms and 15 babies.

An engagement photo

Just kidding. But, I did attend a moms of multiples gathering that did in fact have 12 moms, 25 babies, and 3 helpers. It is a group of moms that have all had twins within a couple of months as us. Three of the moms were in our birthing class with us. It is fun to see everybody and see all the babies growing. This is the first time I have attended the gathering. It was crazy and adorable.

A few pictures from the adventure are below.

The boys are feeling much better and sleeping great! Carson still has to sleep inclined. We are hoping to transition him from that soon.

Guess who?

The whole group!

Cole with a new friend

Cole crashes between Oliver and Stella—they were due one day before the boys and were born 3 weeks after them. Their mom enjoys sewing too- we dream of a day when we will be back at it!

Hi, everybody!

A highlight from the month was the boys meeting mom's friends from college, Tera and Jen.

Mom's other friend Kellie couldn't be there because she lives in Holland, but sent this little hats from Vietnam for the boys. So cute and funny!

Are those the outfits we gave the guys in October? It almost looks like Cole is sitting up by himself on the couch. I bet they will be very soon!
